ABOUT THE JOURNAL
The Oko Journal of Business and Management Studies (OJBMS) is a double-blind peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal dedicated to advancing knowledge in business, administration, and management studies. Published bi-annually by the School of Business Studies, Federal Polytechnic, Oko, the journal provides a platform for the dissemination of high-quality empirical, theoretical, conceptual, and methodological research.
OJBMS promotes interdisciplinary scholarship, evidence-based innovations, and critical discourse that contribute to contemporary management practice and policy development, particularly within Africa and other emerging economies. The journal welcomes contributions from scholars, researchers, policymakers, and practitioners across the globe.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Authors are invited to submit manuscripts that are:
• Original, unpublished, and not under consideration by another journal.
• Written in clear English (British or American style).
• Typed in 12-point font with single-line spacing.
• Prepared in Microsoft Word format with tables and figures embedded within the text.
• Referenced using the APA 7th Edition referencing style.
All manuscripts must successfully pass plagiarism screening through Turnitin with a similarity index not exceeding 15% and comply with accepted ethical standards for scholarly publication.
PEER REVIEW PROCESS
All submissions undergo an initial editorial screening (desk review) followed by a rigorous double-blind peer review by at least two independent experts. Authors may be requested to revise their manuscripts based on reviewers’ comments and editorial recommendations. Editorial decisions will be communicated promptly and transparently.
ARTICLE PROCESSING CHARGES (APC)
To support the journal's open-access publishing model, the following charges apply:
• Vetting/Peer Review Fee: ₦5,000
• Publication Fee: ₦20,000
Total APC: ₦25,000 (Twenty-Five Thousand Naira Only)
IMPORTANT DATES

• Notification of Acceptance: Tuesday, 6 October 2026
• Publication Date: Friday, 27 November 2026
